Wedding Ceremony & Drinks Reception

Katy & Nick's English/Cypriot wedding took place on a beautiful winter's day. Being recommended suppliers at Gate Street Barn we have the privilege of visiting this venue throughout the year and it always looks stunning whichever season. Katy & Nick chose to add on our acoustic option to entertain guests during the drinks reception. 

Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast began with speeches, which had guests laughing (and even crying happy tears). Tandem provided a delicious meal and as a surprise the bride and groom chose a guest from each table to carve the leg of lamb for their table.

First Dance & Evening Reception

After the meals were finished, guests departed to the Pheasantry for tea & coffee, allowing the Tandem team to transform the main barn for the evening reception. Katy & Nick had a friend create a mash-up of 'Just Like Heaven', which began with a beautiful cover of Katie Melua before fading into the original upbeat version, at which point guests joined the happy couple for their first dance.

Afterwards the band played three sets (taking a break when evening nibbles were served). The crowd was fantastic, dancing all night long and lifting both the bride and groom into the air for a photo-worthy moment! 

We wish the happy couple all the very best for their future together! 

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band for making our wedding day so special! The energy you brought to the party was just fantastic- so many of our guests comment on how wonderful you guys all are! We had the best day of our lives- thank you so much for making it extra special for us!
