Emily & Lee's Rivervale Barn Wedding

We were excited to finally be able to play Rivervale Barn, a barn just outside Yateley in Hampshire for Emily & Lee's November wedding. The barn itself is beautiful, with high ceilings and wonderful welcoming staff.

Although Emily and Lee decided to marry at Windlesham Church, Rivervale also provides their Ceremony Barn, perfect for couples wishing to have their whole day in one beautiful venue.

Drinks Reception

Both Emily and Lee wanted to provide their guests with some live background music during the drinks reception.
They chose our Acoustic Duo add-on, which helped to break the ice with all the guests.

First Dance

After their sit-down meal, the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their First Dance 'Dream Catch Me' by Newton Faulkner. It was a new one for the band, but we loved learning it for the couple.

Evening Reception

There is a sound-limiter at Rivervale Barn, but we managed to still create a rocking atmosphere without tripping it once!
We performed 2.5 hours worth of music throughout the night and kept everyone (young & old) dancing and singing along!

As soon as we met Karizma to talk about the details of the day, we knew we had made the right decision. They played as an Acoustic Duo during the drinks reception which warmed the atmosphere and was the perfect subtle start to the big party that would follow. The band were truly outstanding in the evening, setting a very cool vibe that put a really great twist on some classic tunes. The dance-floor was full which is proof that everyone had a good time and so many of our guests have since been gushing with compliments about the band. Talisha was a true pleasure to deal with from start to finish and with the band, our day was everything we wanted and more.
